On August 7th, 2019, Susanne Kim’s children’s documentary “Cabinets of Wonder” started shooting. Susanne Kim accompanies 4 children from our society and shows us her own view into childhood in a very imaginative way. In addition, we are producing a VR experience with expanding focus to make the inner worlds of our protagonists virtually “walkable”. The project, which has already been presented at the IDFA, the DOKexchange, the !flap and the Kidsforum in Malmö, is supported by the MDM, the BKM and the DFFF as well as by the sächsischen Kulturförderung (Saxonian Cultural Sponsorship) and the Landesmedienanstalt (State Media Authority). KiKA will broadcast the film on television after a cinema release. The festival and cinema distribution is planned for the end of 2020. We are very curious.
